I feel ya, I injured my shoulder around 3 weeks ago and my arm was getting totally numb at ~80kg bench press. Pretty shitty start of the year.
I can tell that strenghtening your rotator cuffs and doing a lot of barbell rows and pull ups with proper form should help much more than doing absolutely nothing.
